TI do not like the text to speech why can it say like for example right on williams road or left on stewart street.I'll like an option like other manufactural to download updated map for freeThanksManna I wish they can update the map database.
I think if you buy a refurbished unit, it should be comparable to a new unit regarding the software and maps. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is that they should install or give with shipping costs only the newest maps. I love the Magellan GPS's and have bought two of the refurbished ones off Amazon. I also bought one new from Dell.
It is easy to use and works great. It is easy to use and allows her to use her cell phone via blue tooth for wireless calling while in the vehicle. I purchase this item for my wife. She loves it.
It has text to speech and AAA(Additional Subscription Charge) You can definitely hear this gps while driving especially with an aftermarket exhaust system. This GPS is very user friendly and loud compared to my Navigon 5100.
Well, considering that it is refurbished, I think it's ok to let that slide. Works well overall, but the unit's response to a change in location (due to a wrong turn/missing a turn) is terribly slower than expected. Plus minor scratches on the exterior.
